History
Definitive Sports Group formerly Definitive Sports Representation was formed in 2009 by Tenisha Patterson Brown. After working in college recruiting and athletics marketing, she quickly realized that athletes needed more than an agent. They needed someone that cared about their development as men and businessmen. Most athletes she encountered did not realize that being an athlete was a career and not their identity. Her goal was to challenge clients to be more than an athlete, and to expand their portfolio to be more marketable to businesses and the community. Her first client was her now husband and college sweetheart, Everette Brown.
In 2012, legal consulting was added under the Definitive Sports umbrella. Tenisha primarily represented NFL players until 2015 when she expanded her clientele to include the spouses of current and former athletes. Our athletes help make DSG possible and as a result in 2018 Definitive Sports Representation was changed to Definitive Sports Group.

Tenisha Patterson Brown, Esq.
Tenisha Patterson Brown is a seasoned business and legal consultant, entrepreneur, author, and philanthropist with a deep passion for empowering others to succeed. With over a decade of experience in business and brand development, acquisitions, commercial real estate, and contract negotiations, Tenisha has built a reputation for turning vision into reality.
In 2009, she founded Definitive Sports Representation with a mission to transform athletes into successful brands and entrepreneurs. By 2015, she expanded her vision by creating Definitive Sports Group, where her clients could further their careers as associates, leveraging their athletic prowess into lasting business ventures.
Beyond her professional achievements, Tenisha is deeply committed to philanthropy. She serves as Executive Director of the Everette Brown Bag Foundation, an organization she co-founded with her husband, and as Chair of Faith, Friendship & Fertility, Inc. Her dedication to giving back reflects her belief in the power of community and the importance of supporting others on their journey.
Tenisha is also a successful entrepreneur in the food and beverage industry, co-owning a Tropical Smoothie Cafe franchise in Charlotte, NC, and Tru Vegan Creamery in Tampa, FL. As a co-author of '100 Ways to Stay Married' and 'Faith, Friendship & Fertility,' she shares her insights and experiences to inspire others.
From creating powerful brands to executing complex commercial real estate deals, Tenisha’s expertise helps her clients achieve their goals and beyond. Janae Johnson
Janae is a talent acquisition expert, entrepreneur, and mother. She specializes in resume writing for business professionals and athletic career transitions, interview preparation, and staffing. She has over ten years of experience in the business of career consulting and talent acquisitions, having worked closely with countless hiring managers at Fortune 500 companies such as Cartier, Tiffany and Co., Nordstrom, MetLife, Duke Energy, etc.
Janae wrote and revised thousands of resumes during her career as a recruiter, and helped thousands of people to land interviews, to get a foot in the door at desired companies, and to take the next steps in their careers. After noticing over the years that many people only received interview invitations after having their resumes modified by HR professionals, she founded JNL Career Services in 2012 to tackle the need for career consulting and resume writing from an insider’s point of view.
Janae has worked with many professional athletes looking to transition into business or coaching following their athletic careers. Even entrepreneurs and thought leaders have to wow the occasional hiring manager, business partner, or investor. One of the best ways to do so is to create a powerful resume that succinctly showcases your most important skills, experience, and achievements. Janae is an expert at identifying how on-the-field skills will translate in any business setting.
She also owns a faith-based apparel company, Poiema Brand, inspired by her faith and her desire to engage the culture with the gospel in a refreshing way. Her ultimate passion is to inspire others to overcome adversity, be the best version of themselves, and excel at anything they do.

Dr. Quiana Fluellen, DPT, Cert. DN
Dr. Quiana Fluellen is a graduate of Florida State University with a B.S. in Exercise Science. While in undergrad, she was a member of the Track & Field Team. She went on to obtain her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from University of South Florida.
Dr. Fluellen is the owner of Body G.O.A.L.S. Physical Therapy & Wellness servicing the metro Atlanta area. She has over 9 years of PT experience where she specializes in orthopedics, sports-specific training, rehabilitative yoga & pilates, dry needling, NEURAC- Red cord suspension system, & home fitness programs.
Dr. Q is a strong believer in corrective movements and fixing the body's total function in order to maximize the client's mobility and decrease overall pain. She has worked with a variety of athletes including current and former NFL players, collegiate and high school baseball players, golfers, and runners.
She joins our team as our healthcare specialist with an emphasis on preventative and rehabilitative care. She serves as the consultant for all of our clients’ healthcare needs. Quiana enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, & community outreach.
